Michael Martin joins CBS Radio/San Francisco as VP/Programming for Rhythmic AC KMQV-FM (MOViN 99.7), Hot AC KLLC-FM (Alice@97.3), Alternative KITS-FM and KFRC-AM. Most recently, the veteran programmer was VP/P for Clear Channel/Los Angeles until last week, when he announced he would return to the Bay Area.

CCR Launches Real Time Traffic on 50 HD Radio Channels
Clear Channel Radio's
Total Traffic Network (CCTTN) says it's the first company to launch real
time traffic services over HD Radio channels. The service is live and
operational in 50 markets and Dual Electronics has launched the first
commercial personal navigation device to support this service.

Chris Berry Exits WMAL/Washington DC as President/GM
Chris Berry is leaving Citadel News/Talk WMAL-AM/Washington, DC, as
President/GM, a position he's held since November, 2002. Previously, he
served as VP and GM/Operations for ABC Radio News from 1999-2002. Before
that, Berry was Director/News & Programming for all News WBBM-AM/Chicago.
Co-owned WRQX-FM and WJZW-FM General Manager Jeff Boden adds Berry's
previous duties.

Emmis Ups WQHT GSM Harry Clark to New York DOS
Emmis ups Rhythmic CHR WQHT-FM (Hot 97)/New York General Sales Manager Harry
Clark to Director of Sales for 3-station cluster there. He replaces
Alexandra Cameron, who is now the cluster's Market Manager overseeing Hot
97, Urban AC WRKS-FM (98.7 Kiss FM) and AAA WRXP-FM. "I am thrilled with
this opportunity to serve Emmis and the New York advertising community in a
greater capacity within this role and am confident that with the team of
passionate winners I work with we will lead the industry toward innovative
ways of reinvention to prove radio's value once again, despite a down
economy," said Clark.

Syndicator Sovereign City Communications Closes Doors
Sovereign City Communications, founded in 2007 by Mark Follett, has shut its
doors and will enter bankruptcy. The radio sydication firm told its
employees during a conference call on Monday with the company's attorneys.
The company launched "Great Day with Jim & Debbie," hosted by Jim
Harrington and Debbie Montgomery in October as well as distributing an
unique Oasis AC format which aired "Wendy in Your Oasis," weeknights from
7pm-midnight.

Jim Corwin Exits Clear Channel/Providence as VP/MM
Jim Corwin exits Clear Channel's 4-station group in Providence as VP/Market
Manager, where he oversaw Rock WHJY-FM, Classic Hits WWBB-FM (B101), Hot AC
WSNE-FM (93.3 Coast FM) and News/Talk WHJJ-AM. The 23-year industry vet
previously served as VP/GM of WHJY, WHJJ and WSNE before being promoted in
July, 2003, after returning to the cluster the previous month.

NRG Media Flips KOIL-AM/Omaha to News/Talk
NRG Media flips Childrens KOIL-AM (Radio Disney)/Omaha to News/Talk as "The
All-New KOIL 1180" with a line-up of mostly syndicated programming.
According to PD Neil Nelkin, the station will provide a lineup of popular
conservative hosts, CNN Radio News, AccuWeather forecasts, locally
originated block programs and local sports play-by-play.

ABC Radio Signs Mark Levin to Multi-Year Extension
ABC Radio Networks
inks talk personality Mark Levin to a new multi-year syndication deal. Since
its debut three years ago, the program has grown to more than 175 affiliates
and airs in nine of the top ten and 24 of the top 25 markets. Under the new
deal, Levin will expand from two hours to include an available third hour of
content in February.

Genesis Communications hires Kevin Fennessy as General Manager of recent
News/Talk convert WIXC-AM/Melbourne, FL. Fennessy, a veteran broadcaster,
has several previous management stops, including WFIL-AM/Philadelphia,
WHAM-AM/Rochester, NY, and WKBW/Buffalo. Fennessy commented, "I'm excited
to lead AM 1060 to its rightful position as the leading 50KW News/Talk
leader on the Central East Coast of Florida."

Multicultural Sells KIDR-AM/Phoenix for $1.5 Million
Multicultural Radio Broadcasting has agreed to sell Urban Gospel KIDR-AM
(740)/Phoenix to Force Communications for $1.5 million. Multicultural owns
no other properties in Phoenix and will exit the market with the completed
sale. John Pierce & Company represented the buyer and Bill Schutz of Schutz
& Company represented MultiCultural.
